Home Kit

Oxford United introduced a subtle new look, featuring much wider collars and cuffs.

While many top clubs had moved away from contrasting trim, Oxford chose to maintain theirs. This template had been worn by West Ham the previous season.

The amber shirts had a slightly richer shade, and the socks now featured twin hoops instead of plain black turnovers.

Away Kits & Variation

Long

only

Red shirts were reintroduced for the away strips.

It's highly likely that these were the same Bukta garments used during the 1965 season.

Goalkeeper Jersey

The new keepers jersry featured the same wide collars and cuffs as seen on the home shirts.
