After being with Bukta for an entire decade, this was to be the final season with Oxford.

Home Kit

Long
sleeves
only

The home kit remained unchained from the 1968 season.

This season brought a rule change requiring away teams to wear shorts that did not clash with the home team’s colours.

While this particular season didn't seem to introduce significant changes, future campaigns saw Oxford United donning alternative change shorts.

Away Kits

Long

only

The red shirts featured during previous seasons were worn at Norwich.

A new white shirt was then introduced, featuring the same wide collars and cuffs as the home shirt.
