Long
sleeves
The home shirt for the 1997 season featured very subtle changes, including white shirt collar poppers instead of blue. Additionally, the long-sleeved shirts had a slightly different sleeve cuff design.
The shirt numbers reverted to the block font style which had featured at the the beginning of the 1996 season.
The shorts no longer displayed the text “Oxford United FC” above the club crest.
Long
sleeves
A smart all-white change strip incorporating yellow and blue trim was well received by the fans.
These shirts were produced by the same company, and had the same template as Leicester City's 'Fox Leisure' range from 1994.
This was the club's first-ever 'full' goalkeeper kit. Occasionally, the shorts and socks were changed to match the outfield colours.
